In the 1830s, Charles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey and British Prime Minister received a gift of tea flavored with bergamot oil and the infamous tea was born. Our hand-crafted version of this traditional blend includes the finest quality full-leaf Chinese black teas scented with natural Sicilian bergamot. Silver Needles (highest grade of Chinese white teas) accent the rich black leaves. When brewed, it produces a warm amber-hued liquid with a long, fragrant finish.
Brewing Instructions:
- 1 tsp per 8oz/250ml of water
- 190F
- Brew 3-4 minutes
- Good for 2 infusions
