This coffee hailing from the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala boasts crisp malic and citric acidity, a full body, and toffee sweetness. These coffees tend to be the most fruit-forward and can be the most complex of what Guatemala has to offer. The indigenous population in and around Huehuetenango plays a large role in the coffee production here, and coffee accounts either directly or indirectly for roughly 80 percent of the local economy.
